FARM ANIMALS - no better….. 

The behaviour of people towards farm animals is far from being humane and compasionate. Animals are raised only for consumption and for daily work, they are disconsidered from the emotional point of view, juts regarded as simple objects.

In Tg-Jiu people use to leave free on national roads, besides horses,also farm animals like pigs and cows. But, in order not to run far away they tie their feet and neck with a rope.

In 2008 when we visited the dogs shelter from Carbunesti city, we have found in a small room near closed two cows. One was tied with a 0.5m chain and couldnt even raise up on his feet.

  

 Pro Animals’ representatives, went  in Carbunesti city and discovered an appalling market of animals, near the municipality’s shelter. Pigs, cows and horses were treated with an indescribable brutality and people didn’t seem to bother in any way, on the contrary….
