WE STRONGLY BELIVE IN A HUMANE AND RESPONSIBLE COMMUNITY WHERE ANIMALS ARE TREATED WITH RESPECT AND BEEN SEEN AS BEINGS, NOT AS OBJECTS, TOYS OR GUARDIANS FOR HOME.

WE HAVE TWO IMPORTANT PROGRAMMES RUNNING SINCE 2006 AND FOR CONTINUING IT WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT. ADVICE AND USEFUL INFORMATION IS ALL THE TIME WELCOMED OR YOU CAN JUST MAKE A FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION FOR PRINTING BROCHURES, LEAFLETS,MASS-MEDIA ADDS ETC:

• YOUTH EDUCATION PROGRAMME, " Open your heart" – is teaching children how to become a responsible owner, how to treat animals with the respect they deserve.
• ANIMAL ASSISTED THERAPY , " Soul to soul " – where few of our pets, very sociable and trained, bring a smile to the faces of those people who are less fortunate, who have to spend there life in an asylum due to health and pshicological problems.
• INFORMATION PROGRAMME , "Be a responsible citizen" – doing our best for educating and informing citizens about animals’ welfare and rights through posters put in different shops, through leaflets and brochures, through adds in local mass-media.

YOUR HELP GOES FOR COVERING THE COSTS OF:

- MEDICINES and VET BILLS for treatments and surgeries and for neuterings we had helped plenty of dogs with health problems and now their results are remarkable, you can see them here

- FOOD needed, dry or canned, and other aliments like bread,rice, milk-powder for puppies etc

- ITEMS needed for a shelter, like wood for cages, hay ( in the winter), fences, different tools, detergents and disinfectants

- SALARIES of the caretakers from the shelter. We know that for some of you it might be inacceptable to donate money to pay for a salary, but I am asking you to stay a little bit and think, what would 400 dogs in a shelter do without workers to clean daily, to feed them?

- VAN ‘s expenses which is daily use for bringing food, transporting either injured animals found on the streets or taking dogs from the shelter to the local clinic for treatments, surgeries, neuterings, travels to the towns nearby where we have contracts etc : like reparations, changing different pieces, gasoline.

IF YOU WANT TO BE A VOLUNTEER, YOU ARE WELCOMED 

• IF YOU ARE A VET OR NURSE – fully qualified in your country, with experience in neuterings.

• IF YOU ARE "ONLY" AN ANIMAL LOVER – althought in the begining might seem a nice and pleasant idea to be surrounded by hundreds of loving dogs, it is not an easy task. As we all know, animals -besides our love – they need our care too, meaning that we have to clean and to feed them. Shelter work is very exhausting sometimes, especially if you work during winter or hot summer. Also, would be great if you could also take them out for a walk on a leash around the shelter, brush them, cut their nails or play with them.They are extremely sociable and longing for attention. So, if you don’t afraid of getting dirty and of hard work, you are welcomed.
