At first glance, we thought that she is just taking a rest, but while people were passing by and starring at her, we realised something was wrong. We parked the car and stopped. When we went down, we saw this poor female laying down, with her left back leg crushed and full of blood around. We took her into the car and took her at the shelter ( as it was too late and the vet wasn’t available). We made her some antibiotic and the next morning we took her to the vet, who amputated that part of the leg. She recovered quite well and now she is doing very fine in the shelter.

I couldnt understand people’s attitude. Thinking the moment she was laying down on that sidewalk, suffering and covered in blood, looking at every passer-by and asking for help. Some peole were looking in pitty and passing forward, some werent even looking. How can people be so cruel and careless to suffering?!

When we caught him we realized that all his left back part was open-wound, covered in blood. He was continuously licking and eating that part. We could hardly catch him  and take him to vet. He needed to be operated and sewed, but also to be put a cloth over him in order not to open the stiches. It took lot of time until he fully recover. It was a complet madness when we were trying to change the bandages, and we were lucky to have here the finish volunteers in that period who helped us much.  But, after several weeks, the wood started to close and we moved him down in the stable with th other dogs. He is like a puppy, although he is not yound anymore, he runs back and forth, he jums, he plays. Now, as he is fully recovered, he is down in the shelter with the other dogs.

I was abandoned together with my two brothers, in the grass in front of the shelter. We were all weak, sick and frightened. Carmena took us and did her best for all of us, but unfortunately one of my brother couldnt be saved. Now, I grew a lot and I was also neutered. Like all my friends from the shelter, I love to have attention, to be petted by my actual owners and also like to play in the courtyard from morning until late in the evening.
